The Student Supervision System is a PHP–MySQL based web application designed to manage and streamline the process of supervising students in academic or project-related activities. It provides a platform where supervisors (teachers/mentors) can assign tasks, monitor student progress, provide feedback, and evaluate performance in real time. Students can submit their work, receive feedback, and track their progress online. By automating these supervision activities, the system improves communication, ensures accountability, and enhances overall student development.

Existing System
Traditionally, student supervision is carried out manually through face-to-face meetings, paper records, or email correspondence. This scattered approach makes it difficult to track student progress, store feedback systematically, or evaluate performance accurately. Communication delays, missed deadlines, and lack of transparency are common, especially when supervisors handle many students or projects simultaneously.

Proposed System

The proposed Student Supervision System in PHP digitizes the supervision process by offering a centralized dashboard for both supervisors and students. Supervisors can create project or task assignments, set deadlines, and monitor submissions. Students can upload their work, track feedback, and communicate directly with supervisors. The system also allows progress tracking and generates reports on student performance over time. This structured approach reduces manual workload, ensures timely feedback, and strengthens the supervisor–student relationship.
