The Sports Scheduling System is a PHP–MySQL based web application designed to plan, organize, and manage sports events and schedules efficiently. This system allows administrators to create and update sports fixtures, allocate venues, manage teams, and track results. Players and teams can view upcoming matches, schedules, and results online. By digitizing the scheduling process, the system reduces conflicts, improves time management, and ensures smooth coordination between organizers, players, and venues.

Existing System
Traditionally, sports schedules are managed manually using printed timetables, spreadsheets, or notice boards. Changes in venues, timings, or team line-ups require multiple phone calls or physical notifications. This manual process increases the risk of miscommunication, scheduling conflicts, and delays in updating participants. Tracking match results and updating leaderboards also becomes time-consuming and prone to errors.

Proposed System

The proposed Sports Scheduling System in PHP automates the creation and management of sports schedules. Administrators can register teams, assign match dates and venues, update scores, and generate leaderboards digitally. Players and teams can log in to check match timings, venue details, and results in real time. Notifications can be sent automatically to participants when schedules change. The system can also generate reports on player or team performance and match statistics. By providing a centralized, user-friendly platform, the system enhances coordination, minimizes scheduling conflicts, and improves the overall management of sports activities.
