The Organic Products Buying System is a PHP–MySQL based web application that provides a dedicated online marketplace for customers to purchase certified organic products directly from farmers or sellers. The system allows customers to browse a wide range of organic items—such as fruits, vegetables, grains, and packaged goods—compare prices, and place orders securely. Administrators and sellers can manage product listings, stock, and orders. By digitizing the sale of organic products, the system increases market access for farmers and offers consumers a convenient way to buy healthy products.

Existing System
In the existing system, buying organic products often requires customers to visit physical organic stores or farmers’ markets. Farmers and small vendors have limited reach and must rely on middlemen to sell their goods. Inventory management and order tracking are largely manual, leading to inefficiency and delays. Customers also face challenges verifying product authenticity and availability. This traditional model limits convenience, transparency, and scalability.

Proposed System

The proposed Organic Products Buying System automates the buying and selling of organic products using PHP and MySQL. Administrators and sellers can upload product details with certifications, prices, quantities, and images. Customers can register, log in, browse products by category, add items to their cart, and make secure online payments. The system tracks order status from purchase to delivery and allows customers to provide ratings and feedback. Reports on sales, product availability, and customer preferences can also be generated. By offering a secure, user-friendly, and centralized platform, the system increases trust, convenience, and transparency for both buyers and sellers of organic products.
