Customers can browse menus online, book tables, place orders, and make secure payments. By automating these operations, the system enhances efficiency, improves customer experience, and allows restaurant managers to make data-driven decisions.

Existing System
In the existing system, restaurant management is handled manually or through fragmented tools. Orders are taken by phone or in person, reservations are written in ledgers, and billing is processed separately. This manual process is time-consuming, prone to human error, and lacks real-time coordination between staff and customers. It also restricts customer convenience, as customers cannot view live menus, place online orders, or track their reservations.

Proposed System

The proposed Online Restaurant Management System automates restaurant operations using PHP and MySQL. Administrators can manage menu items, update prices, handle table reservations, manage staff schedules, and track inventory. Customers can log in to browse the menu, book tables, place dine-in or take-away orders, and pay online securely. The system provides real-time order updates to kitchen staff and allows managers to generate reports on sales, reservations, and customer feedback.
