This project focuses on developing an Online Catering Service in Django Python, designed to streamline the process of finding, booking, and managing catering services. The system allows customers to browse menus, choose catering packages, place orders, and track bookings online, while service providers can manage their offerings, prices, and schedules. Using Django with a PostgreSQL/MySQL database, the platform ensures secure user authentication, efficient order management, and a user-friendly interface for seamless interaction between customers and catering providers.
Existing System:
Traditionally, people find catering services through word of mouth, phone calls, or visiting physical offices, which makes comparison, booking, and customization more difficult. Existing platforms may offer only basic contact information without integrated menus, pricing, or booking features, leading to miscommunication and delays.

Proposed System:
The proposed Online Catering Service in Django Python provides a centralized web-based platform where customers can register, view various caterers, compare menus and packages, place online orders, and make payments. Caterers can manage menus, update availability, and confirm or reject bookings in real time. The system also includes features like order tracking, automated notifications, customer reviews, and admin dashboards for monitoring platform activity.
