This project focuses on developing a Medical Lab Test Management System in Django Python, designed to streamline lab test requests, sample tracking, report generation, and communication between patients, doctors, and laboratories. The system allows patients to book lab tests online, view reports securely, and receive notifications, while lab administrators can manage test categories, process samples, and maintain digital records. Built using Django with a PostgreSQL/MySQL database, the platform ensures secure authentication, accurate data handling, and a user-friendly interface for all stakeholders.
Existing System:
Traditionally, medical lab tests are booked manually at the lab counter, and reports are delivered on paper. This manual process results in delays, misplaced records, and difficulty in tracking samples or notifying patients promptly. Existing systems may lack online booking, secure report access, or integration with hospital systems.

Proposed System:
The proposed Medical Lab Test Management System in Django Python provides a centralized platform where patients can register, book lab tests online, and securely access their test reports. Lab staff can manage test lists, sample collection, status updates, and automated report uploads. Features such as email/SMS notifications, payment gateway integration, online report download, doctor access to reports, and analytics dashboards can further improve the system. By digitizing lab test management, the platform reduces administrative workload, minimizes errors, and enhances transparency for patients and healthcare providers
