By digitizing the leave process, the system reduces paperwork, improves accuracy, and ensures transparency and efficiency in leave management.

Existing System
In the existing system, leave applications are usually handled manually through paper forms or emails. Employees submit leave requests, which managers approve or reject manually. Maintaining records of leave balances, tracking leave history, and generating reports is time-consuming and prone to errors. Delays in approval and lack of centralized record-keeping often lead to mismanagement and inefficiencies in workforce planning.

Proposed System

The proposed Leave Management System automates the entire leave management workflow using PHP and MySQL. Employees can log in to submit leave requests, view leave balances, and track the status of their applications. Managers and administrators can review, approve, or reject leave requests, and generate reports on leave trends, balances, and employee attendance. The system maintains a centralized database for all leave records, reduces manual effort, ensures timely processing, and improves transparency.
