Existing System
Traditional encryption methods protect data from unauthorized access but do not conceal the existence of the data itself. Existing steganography tools allow hiding information in images but often compromise image quality or limit the size of the hidden data. Some systems also lack user-friendly interfaces for encoding and decoding, and many are not robust against image compression or attacks that attempt to reveal hidden data.

Proposed System
The proposed system introduces a Python-based framework for secure image steganography. Input images are used as cover files, and secret messages are embedded using LSB or other advanced embedding techniques that minimize perceptual changes. The system supports encoding and decoding processes, ensuring that the hidden data can be accurately recovered when needed. Python libraries such as OpenCV handle image manipulation, NumPy manages pixel-level operations, and PIL supports image reading and writing. Additional features may include encrypting the message before embedding for enhanced security. By combining steganography techniques with encryption and Python-based implementation, the system provides a secure, efficient, and user-friendly solution for hiding and retrieving sensitive information within digital images.
