The Hotel Floor and Room Booking System is a PHP–MySQL based web application designed to automate the process of booking hotel rooms and managing floors/room availability. This system enables customers to view available rooms categorized by floor, type, price, and amenities, and then book them online instantly. Administrators can manage rooms, floors, pricing, reservations, and customer records from a single dashboard. By digitizing the booking process, the system improves efficiency, reduces errors, and enhances the overall customer experience with faster and more transparent reservations.

Existing System
Traditionally, hotels manage bookings manually through phone calls, emails, or walk-in reservations. Room allocations and floor management are tracked on paper or spreadsheets, which often leads to overbooking, double allocations, and inefficient use of resources. Customers cannot check real-time availability and frequently experience delays or miscommunication. Staff face challenges in maintaining accurate records of bookings, cancellations, and payments, which impacts customer satisfaction and the hotel’s operational efficiency.

Proposed System

The proposed Hotel Floor and Room Booking System automates all aspects of hotel room reservations using PHP and MySQL. Administrators can manage the hotel’s floors, update room details, control availability, set pricing, and monitor bookings.
