About This Product

Graphical Password one Image Multiple Location in PHP Application Projects
Abstract
The Graphical Password Authentication System (One Image – Multiple Locations) is a PHP-based web application designed to enhance login security by using a single image with multiple clickable points as the authentication method. Instead of remembering alphanumeric passwords, users create a unique password pattern by clicking on specific locations of a chosen image during registration. During login, they must replicate the same pattern to gain access. This system increases security, reduces the likelihood of password guessing, and improves usability by making passwords more intuitive and memorable.

Existing System
In the existing system, most applications rely on traditional text-based passwords or basic graphical password approaches where users select multiple images rather than points on a single image. Text-based passwords are prone to weaknesses such as phishing, brute-force attacks, and poor memorability. Basic graphical password systems still have limitations: using multiple images increases storage needs, and users may find it harder to remember sequences across multiple images. Moreover, existing systems lack flexibility and often fail to provide a high degree of uniqueness or unpredictability in user authentication.

Proposed System

The proposed Graphical Password Authentication (One Image – Multiple Locations) system uses PHP and MySQL to provide a more secure and user-friendly authentication mechanism. Users choose one image during registration and click on multiple distinct points in a specific sequence to create their password. During login, the system checks whether the clicks match the saved coordinates and order. This approach improves security by offering a virtually infinite number of password combinations from one image, making brute-force attacks extremely difficult. It also enhances user convenience by reducing the need to remember multiple images or complex strings, thus blending security with usability
