Existing System:
Traditionally, courier companies rely on paper records or isolated spreadsheets to handle parcel information, assign delivery tasks, and update statuses. This manual approach is time-consuming, prone to errors, and makes it difficult for customers to know the status of their shipments in real time. Proposed System:
The proposed Courier Parcel Delivery Management System in PHP provides a centralized platform for managing parcels from booking to delivery. Administrators can create shipment records, store sender and receiver details, generate tracking numbers, and assign couriers. Delivery personnel can update the status (in transit, out for delivery, delivered) from the field. Customers can track their parcels using tracking IDs and receive notifications via email or SMS about shipment status. Features such as secure data storage, role-based access control, report generation, and digital receipts improve the system’s efficiency and reliability. By automating courier management, the system minimizes errors, reduces delays, and enhances customer satisfaction.
